MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Nash County Department of Social Services is to
enhance the quality of life for citizens in the community through
the provision of services which enable persons to become
self-supporting; to be self-sufficient; to prevent or correct abuse,
neglect and exploitation; to avoid institutional care when possible;
and to secure institutional care when appropriate.
